Winter is finally here. We’ve had a lot of overcast weather at the farm. This brings on some potential issues that need to be monitored. When the greenhouse isn’t getting direct sunlight it doesn’t heat up. This means that the exhaust system doesn’t come on (unless you have high end climate control systems). When there is no air exchange…. Bad shit can happen quickly. So today I found a few leaves with powdery mildew on them. That’s a fungus, fyi.
I adjusted quickly by lowering the temp on my exhaust system to get some air exchanging. I also lowered the heat temp as well. The plants are in the 5th week of flowering so they naturally would be getting cooler temperatures in the field. Let’s just say I’m copying natural cycles.
